A modified version of Melon Playground
MELON PLAYGROUND Original MOD is a free sandbox game based around pixelated violence. Create a virtual ragdoll and then use a variety of weapons to blast it to pieces. You can then create a new one for more mayhem.
Despite the title, you will not need to have installed the original Melon Playground to play this modified version. However, if you've already played either that game or People Playground, then you should pick it up quickly, as this has very similar gameplay.
Add characters, then give them a beating
MELON PLAYGROUND Original MOD begins with an empty playing field and a menu. Using the menu, you can add characters to the game. You have two to start with, and more can be unlocked. Once the characters are introduced, you can throw the around ragdoll-fashion. They even bleed if you throw them hard enough.
Weapons and explosives
In addition to characters, you can produce various different props. These come in four categories: swords, explosives, firearms and miscellaneous, the last of which includes pumpkins, chairs, balloons, and more. These can be used to hack, blow up, and generally mutilate your characters. Some weapons need to be activated with a press of the screen.
A wide range of tools
Although the premise is simple and there is no real challenge, the game offers a wide variety of weapons. It will take you time to work through them all. For example, the bombs come in many different sizes, from a stick of dynamite to an A-bomb, and it will take trial and error to see the effect each one has.
Bloody but humorous
Given the violent theme and pixelated blood, the game may be unsuitable for small children. Players with a sick sense of humor and a desire for mindless fun may enjoy creating characters and blowing them apart with explosive devices.
